2. All kratom sold in Tennessee must contain a label with disclaimers. This label must state that pregnant and nursing mothers, as well as individuals who are under 21, should not use kratom. The label must also state that kratom can not be used with alcohol and medications. All individuals should consult their general practitioner before use, especially if they have heart disease, high blood pressure, liver disorder, or other medical conditions.

There was a lot of confusion surrounding Kratom’s legality in the state. Because of this, the Attorney General of Tennessee had to make a statement to clear up the state’s Kratom laws.
