First, the number on the front, because this is where nearly every retailer selling this kava kratom shot gets it wrong. 150MG KRATOM on the label means 150mg of total kratom-derived alkaloids per bottle. It does not mean 150mg of mitragynine.

Real Botanicals breaks this out on their own panel: total kratom alkaloids 150mg, of which mitragynine is 100mg. Per serving that is 50mg of mitragynine. If you see a listing claiming 150mg of mitragynine for this bottle, that listing is wrong by 50 percent. We checked three retailers printing exactly that error.

The kava side is 250mg per bottle, 125mg per serving. Real Botanicals' own panel is internally inconsistent about whether that is kavalactones or kava extract. We have asked them to clarify.

What sets this kratom drink shot apart is the support stack: ashwagandha, L-theanine and GABA formulated in alongside the kava and kratom. None of the other tonics in this shipment do that.

One thing you should know before you buy. Real Botanicals publishes a certificate of analysis, which is more than Kanva or Botanic Tonics do, and we credit them for it. But that certificate does not support the label. Lot 12827, Wonderland Labs, 1 August 2025, reports mitragynine at 1.0mg per millilitre, which across 59ml is roughly 59mg against a 100mg claim. That is about 41 percent under, and we re-checked in August 2026: no newer lot has been posted, so the only certificate on offer is a year old.

7-OH tested non-detect on that lot. Heavy metals non-detect. Microbials pass. We are publishing the certificate link and the discrepancy together, because publishing one without the other would be dishonest.

Real Botanicals is operated by Collective Group, LLC out of Fort Mill, South Carolina. They claim Indonesian sourcing and a privately owned South Carolina lab. The product first went live in April 2024.

We found no FDA warning letters, recalls, or lawsuits involving Real Botanicals.

One thing worth flagging: Real Botanicals also sells 7-OH formulations, microdose tablets, and pseudoindoxyl tablets. Given DEA's temporary scheduling order for 7-hydroxymitragynine that went effective in August 2026, that product mix carries more regulatory exposure than the other brands in this category, even though this specific SKU tested 7-OH non-detect.

Product Origin. Lab work on this SKU is performed by Wonderland Labs in Vista, California. Certificates are published at realbotanicals.com/pages/coas, where 17 PDFs are posted covering their line.

We want to be plain about the one we have: it is dated 1 August 2025, roughly a year old, and its measured mitragynine (about 59mg per bottle) falls well short of the label claim (100mg per bottle). We are linking it anyway, because a certificate that does not match is still more information than no certificate at all, and because you should be the one deciding what to do with that. We have requested current lot documentation.

Does 150MG KRATOM mean 150mg of mitragynine?

No, and this is the single most common error made about this product. 150mg is the total of all kratom-derived alkaloids. Mitragynine is separately declared at 100mg per bottle, 50mg per serving.

Does the lab test match the label?

No, and we would rather say so. The published certificate measures roughly 59mg per bottle against a 100mg claim, about 41 percent under. Safety panels all passed and 7-OH was non-detect. We have asked for a current lot certificate.

How does it compare to GUD Tonics?

GUD Tonics publishes 80mg mitragynine and 500mg kavalactones at $10.99, with the lot certificate posted. On the label GUD gives you twice the kavalactones. Real Botanicals' advantage is the ashwagandha, L-theanine and GABA stack.

What is the kava content exactly?

250mg per bottle, 125mg per serving. But Real Botanicals' own panel lists it both as extract and as kavalactones on the same label. Those are very different things. We have asked for clarification.

Is this the strongest tonic you carry?

On the label, on mitragynine, yes. On the published lab work, no. That gap is exactly why we publish lab tests instead of just labels.
