Current panel per 1oz serving, two servings per bottle: 260mg total kavalactones (520mg per bottle), 34mg total kratom leaf alkaloids (68mg per bottle), of which 20mg is mitragynine (40mg per bottle), less than 0.05mg 7-hydroxymitragynine, and zero caffeine.

That kavalactone number is the headline. 260mg per serving is a genuinely high kava load. The kratom side is comparatively light at 20mg of mitragynine per serving. This is a kava shot with kratom in support, which is the opposite of how most of this category is built.

The label carries a warning and we are going to repeat it rather than bury it. The bottle says CAN BE HABIT-FORMING. CONSUME RESPONSIBLY. It also carries a court-mandated warning: this product contains leaf kratom which can become habit-forming and cause serious adverse health effects. Consider avoiding this product if you have a history of substance abuse.

That warning exists because of a class action. In 2023 Botanic Tonics was sued over marketing feel free as a safe alternative to alcohol without disclosing kratom's dependency risk. The case settled for $8.75 million covering purchases from March 2019 through March 2025. The mandated label change is part of the settlement.

Botanic Tonics does not publish certificates of analysis. Their FAQ says every batch is lab tested, but we searched their whole site in August 2026 and found no documents, no batch lookup, and nothing downloadable.

One more thing worth knowing on price. At 40mg of mitragynine per bottle this is the most expensive kratom drink shot per milligram in our entire range. GUD Tonics gives you twice the mitragynine and near-identical kavalactones for two dollars less.
